 Polydoc Loan is used for administrating loans of various documents. The program was primary designed to be used with Polydoc databases,
but it can also be used as a standalone system.

Polydoc Loan consists of

  • Basic module allowing administration of users, documents etc.
  • Optional module allows bar-code reading.
Functions Lending, returning, reservation, waiting lists, statistics etc.
Borrowers Internal and external borrowers.
Type of Loans Internal and external loans, circulation loans and long time loans.
Loan types are given predefined times periods, which can be altered.
Circulation lists are easily created.
Polydoc connection In Polydoc Loan it is possible to search Polydoc databases and also to export records from Polydoc to Polydoc Loan.
A record in Polydoc can be split into several parts, for instance into volumes and copies. An automatic check is built-in to make sure a record is not exported more than once.
Other Information Records can also be registred directly in Polydoc Loan without first being imported from Polydoc.
Additional Information Records in Polydoc Loan can be supplied with information about price, type and subject.
PolyPen Optional module dedicated for registering loans and returnings with the help of a bar-code reader.
External Hardware Bar-code readers can be used for registering loans, both in the main module and PolyPen.

Note: The connection with Polydoc is administrated through login onto Polydoc. A user of Polydoc Loan is therefore also counted as a user of Polydoc.
